Grant Wahl’s Final Article
It’s a sad day for the United States, US Men’s Soccer, and Grant Wahl’s family.
Grant was a writer covering the World Cup in Qatar. He had been noting weird occurrences of sickness and also potentially being followed.
Greg passed away last night in Qatar.
This was his final piece:
A 100MW solar farm in Texas will mount panels directly on the ground

This solar farm company in Texas raised $17M in a Series B round to tackle scability issues on large-scale solar installations.
“We’ve done something that’s very difficult to do. We’ve reduced the cost of a commodity — a 20 percent change is just stunning — when companies are trying to make 1 percent or half a percent improvements.” - Jim Tyler
Seems like this solar installation company is using this technology-age arbitrage and running with it. If Erthos can pull this off, the business will explode.
Ideas That Changed My Life
These few paragraphs by Morgan Housel will change the way you see the world around you.
I read this article three times this week, and you should give it at least one.
The idea that stuck out the most to me:
Everyone’s in a tribe, whether you know it or not. That tribe will change the way you see the world, make sure it’s a good one.
Six Types of Wealth | Young Money by Jack Raines
Most people focus too much on acquiring wealth, but what does wealth really mean?
95% of the world would say “money”. They are forgetting the other five types that make your world a better place.
The AI Revolution: The Road to Superintelligence
We’ve seen Artificial Intelligence explode over the past few months.
It blows my mind that both crypto (not bitcoin) and Artificial Intelligence took off in the 2020’s by creating pictures and JPEGS.
Tim Urban from Wait But Why has a great visualization of how Artificial Intelligence will change our world. Even cooler that he made this graph over 7 years ago and it still holds true to this day.
That’s all for the Shiny Object Saturday. If you enjoyed it, share it with your friends!
I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
I’ll be back in your inbox with a company deep-dive soon. Have a great weekend.
